Business Development Manager, Bournemouth, £25,000 – £30,000 p.a. + Bonus + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + benefits
Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with an extremely successful Bournemouth based design and production company in looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and manage and develop sales with existing and potential new customers.
You will be out of the office visiting clients approximately two times per week, responsible for generating leads, making appointment and be involved in progressing sales enquiries, developing strong relationships with clients and leading price negotiations.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing sales with existing and potential new accounts and being responsible for leading profitable growth of sales/new product developments for the agreed customer accounts
- Selling stock and custom solutions from own factories to corporate and niche accounts
- Key Account Management of well known accounts
- Presenting product and corporate materials
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Frequently visiting customers to present ideas with aim to stimulate new enquiries and obtain new briefs to grow sales revenue
- Interacting with New Business Development Team to manage customer projects from order placement, development, manufacture, shipment and delivery of goods
- Building strong relationships with customers and own factories to ensure high levels of service are upheld
- Leading price negotiations, inventory management, contracts and payment terms with customers
- Supporting the preparation of annual sales forecasts and monitoring sales
Experience and Knowledge:
- 2+ years successful B2B sales experience to include Account Management and New Business
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Autonomous working attitude with a need to be based in the UK office regularly
