Part Time Accounts Assistant Job in Ferndown
Dovetail Recruitment are working with a successful and growing business in the Ferndown area. This company are well established and extremely customer orientated. They are a family run business with an excellent network of support and progression opportunities. Our client is looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join the team in Ferndown on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately creating sales invoices for all deliveries and ensuring these are emailed to the customers
- Receipting card and cash payments to sales invoices raised on Sage
- Cashing up and maintaining floats
- Email account invoices to customers
- Identifying any errors made regarding depot sales and liaising with the depot to correct
- Checking accounts email for queries
- Housekeeping of Sage for queries
- Credit control
- Covering other members of the accounts team during annual leave
- Other administration duties as required
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience within accounts
- Experience with Sage is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn
- Positive telephone manner
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines as required
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits:
- An hourly rate of between £9.50 – £10.00
- Part Time – 30 hours a week
- Holiday Allowance 21 days plus bank holidays
- Free parking
