Transport Coordinator Job in New Milton

Our award-winning client based in New Milton are recruiting a Transport Coordinator to support the businesses transport and logistics department by assisting with accurate transport planning, data input, and administration. The Transport Coordinator role will involve assisting with administration functions for the warehouse team, and generally pitching in with the wider business as and when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to Day transport planning and administration
  • Import and Export administration
  • Equipment administration
  • Communicating with transport suppliers
  • Communicating directly with customers and account managers when needed
  • Problem solving and escalation to team leader/manager
  • Assist with depot and despatch when needed
  • Reduce transport spend where possible
  • Accurate administration and data entry

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Computer literate with Office applications
  • Hands on approach required
  • Works well under pressure

Salary and Benefits:

  • A salary of up to £25,000 per annum
